I love to change up my looks because it's rare to feel like you're the one in control in this career. My agents love it less. ;)

I grew up in the North Shore suburbs of CHICAGO, where I went to the high school that MEAN GIRLS was based on. I shook my poms poms on the very football field where Judd Nelson punched his arm into the air in BREAKFAST CLUB. It's also where I fully PEAKED.

I embraced my inner MUSICAL THEATRE kid and moved to LOS ANGELES ⭐️ to attend American Musical and Dramatic Academy for "college". This is where I met my work wife and sister soulmate, MARISSA READ, who would go on to become my writing and directing partner.

After graduation, I got heavily involved at THE GROUNDLINGS, even getting engaged on the stage during a performance. Sketch Comedy became my creative outlet and I had the time of my life performing at IO West (RIP), Comedy Central Stage, UCB, Second City LA, and The Rockwell. It was during this time that I was encouraged by comedy legends to write my way in.

Marissa and I sold our first show, FOURSOME, to AwesomenessTV and all four seasons went on to be distributed through Youtube Originals. We showran the series, as well as directed, and of course ACTED in it... In little baby parts because those comedy legends? Didn't mention how hard it can be to be seen as more than one thing in the eyes of execs. In the writing field, we have gone on to sell television shows and features to NICKELODEON, TRISTAR, AMERICAN HIGH, SONY, and more. Everything we write we aim to act in, in any capacity we're allowed. There's a rumor Christopher Walkin negotiates dancing into every contract he enters. That's us! With acting!

We currently are out with two features and on the TV side, we were fortunate enough to nab another amazing female team, Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schenider, as SHOWRUNNERS for our latest 1/2 comedy pitch, Bad Apple. We have Cobra Kai's CounterBalance attached as our production company as well as Sony for our studio. We shot a PROOF OF CONCEPT that we acted in to serve as our audition for the leading roles. We are so excited to be shooting ANOTHER proof of concept, this time for a subversive Multicam called Step-Friend. We will be launching our first Kickstarter in the Fall.

While I continue to pursue other avenues that will allow me to act, I still enjoy the traditional route. I'm engaging in that self tape game, as well as commercial fun with Reign. In the performing arena, I plan on picking back up my top hat by getting my musical theatre group, STUPID SONGS, up and running again. After writing my first musical, COMEDY SCHOOL, in 2017, I'm excited to put my education back to use and turn our feature script Bat Mitzvah, into a song and dance show.  Fun fact: I got Bat Mitzvah'd for the first time as an adult on my 30th birthday.

I spend most my time in BURBANK, on the bike pike with Marissa, headed to REPUBLIC OF PIE to work and get thick on macaroons. I love Burbank and will never leave, mainly because my husband teaches 7th grade history at Dolores Huerta Middle School and is basically a celebrity. Everywhere we go it's "Mr. Warren! Mr. Warren! Wait... that's your wife?" They're saying it rudely but I always respond with "I know right?" as if they were giving me a compliment. If you're wondering if I'm threatened by 13-year-olds my answer is, DOI. My husband and I just celebrated our 8th anniversary together and are obsessed with our wrinkly Shar Pei named HOBGOBLIN. I love to say no to plans, watch TV, and play tennis once every three months.

I work on my karma by mentoring in the #STARTWITH8HOLLYWOOD program, as well as at USC's Business school. I coach comedy writers and teach occasionally at NYFA. I'm a proud member of SAG AFTRA and the WGA.

I hope we get to meet in person, though you may not recognize me, as I always look different!
